DESCRIPTION: OSHA requires all employees who have a potential risk exposure to bloodborne pathogens to receive documented annual BBP training – and upon completion of this OSHA complient course each student will receive the appropriate documentation that must be maintained by the employer as per regulation. A must for water damage restoration techs, trauma scene cleaning techs, and infectious disease control techs, this in-depth training BBP (bloodborne pathogens) course is specifically designed for cleaning and restoration technicians who are at risk for potential workplace or worksite exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials. Necessary for employers and employees alike, the course will cover what bloodborne pathogens are, how they are spread, how to avoid exposure, and what to do if exposed to infectious material. The course will also explain appropriate regulatory compliancy practices for employers and employees. Blood Born Pathogens safety awareness class covers the OSHA 1030 regulations and includes a certificate of completion.
